Hotel General Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Provide superior customer service, assisting reception and front of house teams with guest room requests.
- Service rooms, public areas, and hotel rooms to the required standards set by the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor and the company.
- Perform routine and periodic cleaning tasks in designated areas, following instructions from superiors.
- Maintain and operate cleaning equipment properly, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Use cleaning agents correctly on all surfaces and report any damages or wear and tear.
- Adhere to grooming standards and uniform requirements consistently.
- Observe and follow all security procedures as directed by the hotel and company.
- Attend training sessions as necessary to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Strictly adhere to Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Bomb Threat, Security, and Food Safety procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all crockery, cutlery, kitchen surfaces, and service equipment.
- Clean and maintain all cutlery, crockery, pots, and equipment to the required standard.
- Safely store all equipment and report any breakages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all kitchen and related areas, following cleaning procedures and schedules.
- Report any equipment faults or damage to senior chefs promptly.
- Assist with food deliveries and ensure proper storage of food items as instructed by the head chef or senior chef.
- Comply with all hotel and company rules and regulations outlined in the team member handbook.
