**Job Description**:

we are looking for a Catering Assistant to work on our site which boasts a welcome and friendly atmosphere in one of our schools in Staines to students, staff and visitors.

The main duties and responsibilities are:
Service
- To serve customers in a fast paced environment with flare for presentation and precise portion control.
- To always ensure the counters, seating areas and kitchen are kept clean at all times.
- To deliver a quality hospitality service.
- To complete cleaning rotas / dish washer duties as required.

Food Preparation
- To help in the preparation of the school lunches.
- To maintain correct food storage and holding temperatures at all times.

General
- Serving on the counter at lunch time
- Washing up. working on the dishwasher, sweeping, mopping
- Putting deliveries away
- To act at all times within the current Health and Safety at Work regulations.
- Promote excellent customer service to all customers.
- Carry out any other reasonably comparable duties that may be required from time to time.
- Undertake additional duties as required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Be passionate and excited at the prospect of working with students, colleague’s and visitors.
- Be willing and excited at the prospect of further development through Catering by Churchill’s development training.
- Have a flare for communication and enjoy working as part of a team.
- To remain at all times respectful of equal opportunities.
- Experience working in catering is essential
