We are looking to appoint a Nursery Teaching Assistant on a maternity leave contract, to provide high quality support for our youngest pupils in our School. You would be joining an exceptional and supportive team of professionals, who are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and our mission to make every day count for the children. Beeston Fields in a two-form entry primary school, serving a vibrant and diverse community. The children bring a wealth of cultural experiences and almost half speak English as an additional Language. **We are looking for someone who**:

- Has a Level 3 qualification and experience of working with children with a variety of needs and challenges
- Believes wholeheartedly in our ethos that children are the heart of everything we do
- Promotes high standards of teaching and learning through excellent classroom practice
- Has a passion to ensure that all children reach their full potential
- Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and is a true team player
- Will play an active part in the wider life of our school
- Has a sense of humour

**Your core duties will be**:

- Encouraging engagement in activities
- Supporting the needs of the children
- Preparing the classroom environment for lessons and assisting with displays
- Encouraging independence
- Liaising with parents
