The world around us is changing rapidly, placing an increased demand on growing services sectors to become net zero. We are looking for the next generation of interns who will continue to innovate across different areas of our business and support the energy, digital and industrial transitions of our customers. As an Equans intern you will have the exciting opportunity to experience the diverse and interesting world of one of the UK’s biggest facilities management organisations.

Starting in August 2025, you will join our induction with all the other interns before your specific placement commences to start building your network and understanding of the business. During your scheme, you will have the opportunity to gain insight and experience the diverse and exciting world of facilities management. Our internships also give an invaluable insight into our graduate scheme, which enables you to build a network and learn who you are. Whether your focus is operations, services or finance, we will help you figure out your full potential. You will need to be fully mobile as the placements could be based anywhere within the UK and interns might need to relocate depending on the placement locations.

This 12-month structured programme will give you unparalleled insight into one of our many divisions, as well as the opportunity to experience others, in order to develop your understanding of the whole business. The programme will give you unrivalled work experience in the ways in which we support and deliver innovative solutions to our communities and customers.

**Year in Industry Placement - Operational Management Overview**

Our Operational teams deliver an incredibly wide range of services to our clients all over the country. You could be a part of the largest facilities management contracts in the UK where we work in partnership with some of the UK’s biggest hospitals or helping to mobilise our newest contract wins. A life in Operations is never dull and as an intern you will gain experience of what it takes to work alongside large, diverse teams in a fun and rewarding industry.

You will have a passion for putting the customer first, working in teams and constantly looking to improve and innovate. Over the course of your internship scheme, you will gain an understanding of how we support our customers and how to deliver innovative solutions to our communities and clients.
