Picker/packer

We’re hiring for a **Picker Packer** to join a busy organisation based in **Cheadle, Stockport **on an ongoing temporary basis.You will be responsible for packing and collating orders and assisting with quality control.

**What will you be doing as a Picker Packer?**
- Packing and collating items in a specific order
- Unpacking, organising, and packing goods in an organised and timely fashion
- Taping boxes, rolling posters, and labelling boxes
- Cleaning, clearing, and assembling packaging lines following correct procedures
- Ensuring product quality which includes checking samples and carrying out visual quality checks
- Taking responsibility for the zone that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a busy environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
- The ability to stand for extended periods and carry out repetitive tasks
- The ability to use initiative and be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management as you will be working at speed

**What’s nice to have?**
- Previous experience in a production environment or packing role
- Experience working in a target driven environment
- Quality Control experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
