Here at Watkin Jones, we are now looking to appoint a Site Manager to work on our extensive affordable home project based in Crewe. The 245-home development will offer 85 more affordable homes than required under the section 106 planning conditions, bringingthe total number of affordable homes on the site to 159. These include two, three and four-bed family homes, as well as two bed apartments.

Located within walking distance of Crewe town centre, as well as the highly connected rail station, the development will include significant green space and two pond features to encourage biodiversity.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who is educated to NVQ Level 3, ‘A’ Level or HNC standard in a relevant discipline or who has the equivalent experience. With good communication skills and a technical aptitude, you need to possess a SMSTS certificate, FirstAid certificate and a scaffolding Inspection certificate and hold a valid CSCS card. We’d like you to have experience of working with high rise buildings, student accommodation builds or BTR builds and be comfortable working in an extremely fast paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel are a must, as are strong management and leadership capabilities.
