About the Support worker role:
You must be able to provide support to the service user, in his own home by assisting with:
⦁ Outings, activities, and social engagement

⦁ Grocery shopping and meal preparation

⦁ Personal care requirements showering, grooming, or getting ready for the day

⦁ Light household cleaning

⦁ Reliable

⦁ Flexible approach

⦁ Laid back and easy going

⦁ Kind and supportive

⦁ Patient

⦁ Good active listening skills

⦁ A sense of fun

Responsibilities of the Support Worker include:
⦁ Supporting a young man in his own home who is fun loving with complex needs and autism

⦁ Supporting him to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of his community and beyond.

⦁ Supporting with social activities and connecting with family and friends.

⦁ Supporting the management of finances.

⦁ Keeping the home clean and fresh, and going shopping.

⦁ Providing, and encouraging personal care.

**Salary**: £22,210.00 per year
