**Job Title - Sessional Youth Worker**

**Location: Manchester**

**Salary; £11.16 per hour**

**Hours - Ad Hoc - Various
- evening and weekend Inc**

The role is needed to support the delivery of our outdoor learning services and will work with children and young people from Greater Manchester.

It will involve working outdoors and with challenging groups.

We are looking for highly motivated youth workers who have:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with young people and motivate them to participate in activities and events.
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
- Organisational and planning skills, able to deal with conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Good IT skills in standard packages

- Ability to navigate social media platforms to communicate effectively with the target client group
- Ability to inspire, lead and develop young people
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people in groups and on an individual basis.

Applicants must have:

- An interest in working with children and young people
- High personal integrity and motivation

Willing to:

- Willing to work as part of a team
- Willing to work unsociable hours including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to continued personal/ professional development

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.16 per hour
