Our client who has an OFSTED rating of outstanding is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate manager to join their experienced, successful and dynamic team. This is a family friendly organisationwho take pride in being a child focused service and put the wellbeing of children and young people at the front and centre of everything they do.This position is office based however, regional travel is part of the role to support your team and some nationaltravel will be required to visit other Offices.You will be working collaboratively with all stakeholders, you will strive to ensure that the children and young people in your care reach their full potential. You will be responsible for assisting the Head ofFostering in leading and developing a high performing region offering operational excellence, financial performance and contribute to and deliver the organisational business plan.Responsibilities Include: Lead, motivate and guide a team of social care practitionersin ensuring that you provide outstanding care and the best possible outcomes for children and young people. Achieve regional targets and KPI's for placement growth and carer recruitment whilst ensuring that the needs of the children, young people and carersare met when making placements. Responsible for providing day to day operational support to your team of Supervising Social Workers, creating a highly skilled and trained team. Safeguard the children and young people in your care including support to the RegisteredManager within the monitoring of Schedule 6/7 matters and when appropriate to have delegated responsibility for liaising with Ofsted on these matters.
