About:
My client is a design and manufacturing business. They have over 50 people working for them and an annual turnover in excess of £5m from their 90,000 sq. ft UK manufacturing facility. They deliver bespoke products to a range of specialised architecturalmarkets.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Completion of full tender process; constructing bespoke quotations, estimations and BoQ's utilising drawings, specifications and site surveying.
- Carry out preliminary checks to legal documents (tenders/contracts/agreements).
- Attend meetings when necessary and document accordingly.
- Identify the project characteristics, benefits and areas of risk at an early stage.
- Negotiation with clients.
- Achieve optimum conversion rates and strive to achieve desired financial margins.
- Establish, develop and maintain new and existing professional relationships.
- Calculate breakdowns/budgets for labour, material, plant etc.
- Obtain and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Completing material take offs.
- Mark up drawings with clear descriptions of scope and work breakdown structure using specification extracts for clarity and to avoid scope creep.
- Monitor project costings.
- Ensuring administrative tasks are actioned and record keeping is up to date.
- Work closely with management to ensure an efficient and effective execution of each project.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of products and capability to promote effective and profitable sales proposals.
- Record and relevantly disseminate information as required.
- Liaise with managers to establish NORMs for implementation to estimates to target accuracy and increase speed of estimate turnaround
- Familiarity of WIP commitments to influence deal closure urgency or manage customer delivery expectations to promote optimal capacity output.
- Liaise with managers to establish quality standards to align customer expectations
