**What will you be doing?**:

- Building, maintaining and operating the bank's artefact/back up recovery service that is an inhouse built service hosted in the cloud
- Creating and maintaining accurate and high quality documentation for the service as it is consumed by variety of internal service teams
- Negotiating and managing timeline/prioritization expectations effectively with stakeholders that are pushing artefacts into the cloud
- Focusing on service delivery for customers
- Evaluating & analysing business requirements, designing suitable solutions, challenging requirements where necessary
- Implementing enhancements to the Cyber Vault service
- Conducting Incident/Problem/Recovery activities
- Supporting the Joint Operations Centre and incident response teams for detected security events and major recovery events
**What we're looking for**:

- Knowledge of cloud technologies mainly in AWS (S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB)
- Exposure to programming in Java framework
- Experience with at least one core technology domain e.g., Operating Systems, Application Development
- Knowledge of open source and commercial security tooling and integrations
**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Basic/Intermediate level of scripting/coding ability e.g., Python, PowerShell
- Exposure to other cloud technologies Azure and SaaS based security solutions
- Broad knowledge of security network architectures (e.g. Firewalls, DMZ, proxies, DNS, web and mail servers) and the principles of networking
- Knowledge of Infrastructure administration, Windows/Linux, Containers (K8s, Dockers, etc.), Storage, Database (SQL/NoSQL)

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
