Receptionist/administrator

The main purpose of this role is to support the Accounting Team in a small Accounting Practice, ensuring smooth on-boarding of new clients, liaising with clients and assuring that the Company Administration is efficiently and competently run.
**Main duties and responsibilities**:
- Answering telephone calls and liaising regularly with clients
- Processing incoming post and client paperwork and assigning to the correct person/place
- Maintaining the office filing system and organising return of client paperwork
- Ensuring the office is kept stocked with stationary and other items
- Assisting in client set up processes, including liaising with clients to gather information and registering individuals, partnerships and companies for various tax schemes (i.e personal, corporate, VAT)
- General administration/ad hoc administrative tasks
- Administration of Company Fee Protection Scheme
- Organisation of Fee Protection Claims - collating paperwork, liaising with
Fee Protection provider and other staff during on-going work, co-ordinating with Invoicing department once Claim has been completed
- Day to day responsibility for AccSol Petty Cash
- Creating Word letter templates for use in Tax Calc software
- Mail merges using Word and Tax Calc software
- Maintaining office telephone system and updating client details into it.
- Any other task as requested by a Director of the Company
**Skills/Experience required**:
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word & Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills and team work
- Experience in Mail Merges and Data bases
- Experience in previous administrative roles would be beneficial
- Minimum of GCSE Maths & English (A-C grade)
Salary is negotiable, dependent on skills and experience.
