**Job Purpose**:

- I am a friendly lady with complex health needs who is seeking two personal assistants to support me to live independently in my home.

**Job role 1**:to assist with packing up my home, including sorting, organising and decluttering in preparation for a potential house move next year.
This role requires someone for 9 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, between the hours of 1.30 and 6pm.

**Job role 2**:general household cleaning, running a bath, cooking light meals, some personal care, assistance with paperwork/bills, dog walks, occasional errands and helping me to access the community for shopping and coffee.
Due to health issues associated with my diabetes, it is essential I go outside for walks and light exercise. As such, someone who is able to encourage and accompany me for dog walks would be ideal.
This role requires someone for 9 hours per week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours 2 and 6pm.
Due to my low immune system, it is essential that PPE be worn should you have a cold/illness.
Both of these roles can be physically active, as such, someone who is reasonably fit is preferred.

**Person specification**:
**Essential**:

- Good sense of humour with a positive and pro-active attitude.
- An understanding of mental health issues.
- A calm, empathic and supportive nature.
- Happy to work around dogs and cats.

**Desirable**:

- Car owner/driver would be preferred but this is not a requirement.
- Female preferred due to personal care element

**Summary terms and conditions**:

- The rate of pay for this position is £12 per hour
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role
- Hours and times of work:

- Role 1: 9 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, between the hours of 1.30 and 6pm.
Role 2: 9 hours per week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours 2 and 6pm.
- Free Care Skills training for all employed staff

If this job requires any of the following: Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemical, Food Handling. You will be required undertake annual training.
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
