**Customer Care and Sales Advisor**

**Location: Outskirts of Braintree**

**Full time, Office based**

**Up to £26k (depending on experience)**

Are you experienced with providing a high level of service, while converting calls in to sales?

This opportunity will see you utilising your excellent communication skills and relationship building, converting lapsed customers to orders and sales. This role will involve 'warm calling' and will require you to contact potential or existing customersto inform them about a product or service available. If you enjoy upselling and cross selling, plus you get a buzz from working with targets, then this is the role for you

You will also be providing customers with price, delivery and product information, processing orders and taking payments. This is a varied role that will suit someone who oozes customer service and satisfaction, keen to work to a high standard and ensurethe customer receives the best quality service throughout You must have a polite and warm telephone manner, with the ability to listen to the customers needs and respond with an outcome

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Attending to and welcoming customers visiting the premises
- Contacting customers in a proactive fashion to notify them in the event of delayed deliveries
- Processing orders and taking customer payments
- Resolving customer disputes, reviewing requests for credit notes and actioning appropriately
- Responding to all eBay and Amazon questions within maximum time limit to avoid penalties
- Developing both new customer accounts and lapsed accounts through building strong, effective relationships
- Advise customers on trading terms and conditions and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels
- Maximising customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products, offering specific product advice
- Contributing to the budget for the sales team, preparing and sharing sales updates with colleagues and reporting to management with regular customer feedback and ideas to improve
- Understanding local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans

This position will be for 40 hours pw, working to a rota system where you will work 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Due to the location of the office, it is also essential that you can drive.
