This is a pivotal role in reshaping Social Care and Early Help, ensuring seamless delivery of services for children. As our Programme Lead (Families First Programme), you will take forward strategic transformation, building on our strong reputation for universal and early help services, as demonstrated in our recent focused visits and local area SEND Inspection.
To lead and coordinate the transformation work, you will bring passion and energy to the programme. The role will require excellent stakeholder relationship skills, working with statutory partners, the voluntary sector and communities within our borough. You will bring experience of transformation work and project management, as well as knowledge of working within a local authority context, whilst demonstrating a passion and ambition to deliver the best services for the children, young people and families of our borough.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Programme Management**: Design, coordinate, oversee, and lead the Families First Partnership Programme.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Lead and coordinate engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including DfE, Health services, Police, Education providers, Elected Members, children, young people, families, and communities.
- **Budget Oversight**: Monitor financial resources, ensuring compliance with Government funding criteria.
- **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement strategic plans to deliver sustainable and safe outcomes for Children.
- **Change Management**: Initiate and manage major change initiatives in service delivery.
