**Primary Purpose**:

- Lead and motivate the Security Team to deliver all customer requirements, value added tasks and play a key role in the customer organisation.
- Ensure the Security Team respond in an effective manner to incidents, alarms, events, escalating to the Emergency Services, the Customer and the Security Operations Centre.
- Work closely with the Security Operations Centre to maintain security service and cover operational needs.
- Promote confidence with every customer and every colleague through effective decision making, communication and professional security standards.
- Create a secure environment, in which our customers, their employees and visitors are able to thrive.
- Deliver operational excellence across all security services, reduce escalations and provide expertise advice.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead recruitment, train direct reports and complete performance reviews to ensure skills and behaviours are developed to meet current and future needs.
- Ensure the safety, welfare and well-being of all direct reports.
- Ensure that colleagues, customers and the public have a positive experience when engaging with the Security.
- Ensure that the Security Team rotas are planned in an organised manner, not compromising customer/ site expectations.
- Contribution to projects and continuous improvement.
- Train the Security Team to investigate site alarms and utilise the relevant site security systems to detect risks and potential security breaches.
- Train the Security Team to utilise TRACKTIK to complete patrols and reporting of incidents/ alarms.
- Promote a culture of safety, awareness of H&S risks and accident reporting.
- Protect property of customers, employees and visitors.
- Prevent unauthorised access to site, whether by a person, vehicle or object.
- Develop effective Assignment Instructions and practice security drills.
- Ensure the Security Team deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Ensure the Security Team collaborate with the customer’s FM team.

**About You**:
**Experience/ Skills/ Qualifications**
- **5 Years’ experience in the security industry**:

- **2 Years’ experience leading teams**:

- **SIA license - Security Guard/ DS**:

- **SIA license - CCTV**:

- **IT Systems (SME)**:

- **L3 in First Aid (Desirable)**:

- **ASIS Certified Protection Professional (Desirable)**:

- **BTEC L3 in security management (Desirable)**:

- **L2 in Leadership (Desirable)**:

- **Full UK driving license (Desirable)**
