Dawsetway Heating & Renewables is a privately owned premier design, installation and maintenance company with a history of over 30 years. We are a lively and dynamic business, proud of what we do, with our projects covering both the residential and commercialsectors.
We are currently looking to expand our team and recruit an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced Electrical & Renewables Engineer who is now looking for a long-term career and prospects, as opposed to 'just a job’.
Based from our office in Maidstone, working on projects predominantly located in Kent, but occasionally in London and the Home Counties.

The role will suit someone looking to develop their career and progress in to a Site Supervisor or Project Management position.**Job Role**
- Installation of both AC and DC components for solar electric (PV), battery storage and EV charging point systems
- Assist with electrical aspects of domestic and commercial installations
- Assist and work as a team in the roof installation of the solar panels when required
- Occasionally assisting with domestic and commercial surveys and design
- Ensure all work undertaken is safe and that it complies with current regulations
- Ensure installations are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to a high standard
- Ensuring Health & Safety compliance is in line with both corporate and legal obligations
- Ensuring technical knowledge is continually kept current via both company and self-driven training
- Ensuring project documents are complete and current
- Provision of timely and accurate reporting as directed and required
- Identification of project resources and work with materials efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring that understanding of company methodology, RAMS and other required site / project documentation is kept current and relevant
- Providing of guidance and tuition to other staff, including apprentices and trainees
- Working with the Operational management to improve installation processes
- Undertaking and documentation of toolbox talks in line with Health & Safety policies

**Knowledge, Experience & Skills**
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- 18th Edition
- EV installation
- Small commercial knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
- Air source heat pump knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure is essential
- Competent IT literacy
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and approachable attitude to clients, contractors and other members of the team
- Ability to work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail, and high personal standards of presentation
- Excellent time keeping
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card

Salary £40,000.00 to £50,000.00 (dependent on experience) + Package, including performance related bonus. Additional training and progression provided
