Salary £35k-£55k negotiable depending on experience
Location: Remote / Southampton (Flexi Working Available)
You must be flexi to travel to client site usually around Hampshire, Dorset, IOW and occasionally London. Expenses will be paid for any travel to client site.
Role Purpose
*As a key member of the Project Team, you will be providing Project Management for new and changing services to our customers through exceptional communication, organisation and customer service skills.
*The role will require the ability to own the delivery of projects whilst working with our dedicated project engineering team. The role will require you to define, scope and delegate tasks and responsibility to project engineers (and where appropriate otherproject managers) that will support you when delivering projects.
*The role will require the ability to own the setup of associated invoicing, billing and arrangement for project milestones within the delivery of new and changed services to our customers.
*The role will require the ability to own the Project Portfolios to report on how many projects are in queue, in flight and will be completed in any given period. This reporting will include resource allocations and cost management.
*You will need to implement and uphold the project management processes to deliver quality projects On Time and In Budget.
*You will need to form an excellent working relationship with all members of the project team to ensure that project tasks and phases are delivered on-time and within the budget. This will require exceptional project management skills, use of project managementtools and excellent customer communication.
*Extra duties on an out-of-hours basis may be required from time to time and are considered part of the role. This includes travelling to client sites and other company offices, dependent on the workload and location of customer. Customers are mainly UK basedbut some international travel may be required
Minimum 2-3 years experience as a PM
*. Must hold minimum of PRINCE2 Foundation - ESSENTIAL
*Working towards or holding PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar qualification
*Understanding of PMP, Agile and working Kanban Sprints
*Experienced in the use of Project Management Software
*Technical background in IT, particularly as part of a Service Desk, Project Delivery Team or a Managed Service Provider.
*Ability to manage and organise a large number of tasks and work under pressure, whilst maintaining an eye for detail and ensuring timely delivery of quality services.
*Understanding of Key Performance Indicators and ability to recognise and recommend new measures to help continually improve the Project Team and delivery of the service we provide.
*Ability to identify the need for a process and be able to help define the process and deliver the changes required to achieve the right outcome.
Desirable:
*ITIL Foundation certified
*Understanding and awareness of Microsoft Cloud Technologies
*General awareness of Microsoft Cloud Technologies
*General Awareness of other MS Business technologies
*General Awareness of VMware and Hyper-V environments
*Experience of managing change in an ISO9001, ISO20000 or ISO27001 environment
