**Starting salary: £19,240 - £21,322 pro-rata per annum**

**Based in HMP Warren Hill and Hollesley Bay Visitors’ Centres**

The Ormiston Families team is based at HMP Warren Hill and Hollesley Bay. We provide support, information and a personal welcome for first-time visitors to help them access the services available to them.

We are excited to be growing and transforming our services for children, families and young people, and will be focused on improving our quality and availability of services and so it is a great time to consider joining us.

We are seeking a Family Support Worker to assist with the effective and efficient running of the HMP Visitor Centre and Play Area in the prison visits hall to ensure prisoners and their families have a valuable visiting experience, improving the quality of visits for children and families and helping to maintain family relationships. The role will also include working with prisoners.

To be successful you will have experience of dealing with people in a customer service-based role and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

There are 2 positions both are part-time with one working for 17.5 hours per week and the other for 14.5 Hours per week. Depending on prison requirements this may also include working weekends.

You will also need to be able to have access to a car or be driven to the Prison as HMP Hollesley Bay and Warren Hill are in a remote location and are not accessible via Public Transport. Parking onsite available
