Have you recently graduated and are now an aspiring teacher looking to gain classroom experience before your teacher training?
This Secondary school in Wokingham, Berkshire are currently recruiting for a graduate teaching assistant to join them ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced learning support teaching assistant to develop their experience withineducation. A graduate with a degree graded 2:1 or above is ideal for this Learning Support Teaching Assistant role or a graduate with some previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring,nursery assistance, in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting. In your second year as a Learning Support Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to complete your teacher training and gain your QTS.
This Secondary school are looking for committed and bright graduates who are passionate about their input into a child's education to join as a Learning Support Teaching Assistant. The graduate appointed will be supporting the children in their numeracyand literacy within Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 as a graduate Learning Support Teaching Assistant.
This is a fantastic platform for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience in preparation for completing their teacher training the following year. This is a teacher training school meaning that successful TAs can consequently be enrolled on to the School'sDirect Teacher Training Route.
A graduate with a strong educational background is required for this role including GCSE's in Maths and English (C or above).
