**Salary/Benefits**: Salary is between £31,930 and £36,878 per annum (Pro-Rata) DOE and Qualifications, Teacher’s pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Computing to join our Computing and Digital Technologies department at The Bedford College Group**.**
As a Lecturer, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- **Teaching & Learning Delivery** - Plan, deliver, and assess T Level Digital Software Development and other programmes, ensuring inclusive, high-quality education tailored to individual student needs.
- ** Student Support & Progression** - Guide and mentor students through tutorials and progress tracking, helping them achieve their potential and meet academic standards.
- ** Curriculum & Quality Development** - Contribute to curriculum innovation, develop engaging learning materials, and uphold awarding body standards through moderation, verification, and continuous improvement.
- ** College Engagement & Promotion** - Participate in marketing activities, open days, interviews, and employer engagement to promote programmes and enhance vocational opportunities.
- ** Compliance & Professional Standards** - Uphold statutory duties in safeguarding, equality, health & safety, and actively engage in training and development aligned with TBCG values and strategic goals.
**About you**:
- **Essential Qualifications & Compliance** - Holds a relevant degree or industry experience, teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed), GCSEs in English and Maths (A-C), valid DBS, and visa status.
- ** Teaching & Educational Expertise** - Proven experience teaching Level 3, strong understanding of FE quality assurance systems, and ability to use IT and data to enhance course delivery and student outcomes.
- ** Professional Skills & Attributes** - Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills; ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality while building professional relationships.
- ** Commitment to Student Experience & College Values** - Demonstrates a student-centred approach, promotes a welcoming and inclusive environment, and upholds safeguarding, equality, and health & safety standards.
