Sport Aberdeen is excited to offer a new opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a PE Assistant. This is a dynamic role based within a secondary school with key responsibilities in;
- Lifeguarding Duties in School:
Provide professional lifeguard cover during swimming lessons as part of the school's PE curriculum, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils and staff in the pool environment.
- PE Class Support:
Whilst the priority of this post is to provide lifeguarding duties, any times when not lifeguarding the PE Assistant will assist PE staff with the delivery of physical education classes, supporting lesson set-up, supervision, and pupil engagement across a range of activities.

This term-time only position is ideal for someone passionate about physical activity, supporting young people and water safety. This role could be perfect for those seeking a work-life balance aligned with school holidays, or those looking to gain experience working in a school and/or PE Department.
