Pharmacy Counter Assistant

Chislehurst Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy based in Chislehurst, Bromley, seeking a Counter Assistant. We are looking for a confident, friendly and highly motivated individual to be part of a hard-working team. As a counter assistant, you will be the first port of contact for customers so this role requires you to have exceptional customer service and communication skills.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Working under the supervision of the pharmacist to sell over-the-counter medicines.
- Offering excellent customer service to patients.
- Communicating effectively with both members of the public and members of staff.
- Handling monetary transactions.
- Maintaining cleanliness and the appearance of the shop floor.
- Requesting and collecting prescriptions from surgeries.
- Ordering, receiving and managing stock efficiently.
- Ensuring stock is rotated.

**You will need to**:

- Be punctual and reliable.
- Have an interest in healthcare.
- Be able to work well individually and as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to read and carry out instructions.
- Be willing to learn and undertake any necessary training courses.
- Have experience working in a pharmacy preferred

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.60-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week

- Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
