**Service Support Worker - Regulated Service - Home Care**
**Location: Community Work **with travel around Inverness**

**Hours: Zero hours, as and when required**
**Contract type: Casual**
**Salary: £12.00 per hour**
**Driving Requirement**:A full driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not mandatory**

**Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is required within 3 months of starting the role.**

**A day in the life of a Support worker will included;**
- Playing a vital role in providing practical and emotional assistance to individuals in their own homes.
- Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and medication support.
- Supporting individuals with household tasks, and meal preparation
- Encouraging and promoting independence, enabling individuals to maintain their hobbies and interests.
- Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring all care documentation is accurate and up to date.

**To be a successful Support Worker you'll need;**
- Previous experience in a similar care, preferably within a healthcare or social care setting, but not essential.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on individuals lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of person-centred care principles and a commitment to upholding dignity and autonomy.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
