Their people deliver expert advice and a comprehensive range of professional services to property owners and occupiers, businesses and financial institutions. They pride ourselves on themselves on ability to deliver highly effective and innovative solutions for our clients. They are seeking a proactive, dynamic, commercially-minded and experienced planning consultant to lead the delivery of planning services from their Cambridge office. Whilst office based, they are also open to offering a flexible approach to the location,which could include Cambridge and Peterborough. The successful applicant, MRTPI qualified, will be expected to lead and manage client projects as well as supporting and assisting colleagues in all aspects of planning. Duties will include: - Researching planning policies and constraints - Preparing detailed planning policy and design statements - Site visits and land appraisals - Attending client and council meetings - Identifying and delivering marketing opportunities for planning within the area - Advice to existing and potential clients - Preparation of fee proposals Essential Skills and Experience: - Full member of the RTPI with post qualification experience - Understanding of commercial implications of planning proposals - A "can do" attitude, be of strong character, confident and a good networker - Flexible and adaptable to client needs - Ability to work under pressure and often to tight deadlines - Full UK driving licence
