**Join our team as Marketing Executive**
**The Student Marketing team support and motivate all ICAEW students throughout the time they are studying for their qualifications. This is through a well-established marketing strategy along with UK and International student groups who volunteer their time to provide local support, events, and networking opportunities.
**Role Profile of Marketing Executive**
**ICAEW student marketing supports students as they progress through our qualifications and into membership. This role assists the student society network, including promoting their annual programmes of events and activity, as well as being a key part of the student marketing team.
Sitting within the wider Student Attraction and Marketing team, the five-strong student marketing team is responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring marketing projects and campaigns designed to engage, guide, and inspire ICAEW students. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including relationship building with students and student societies.
As with all members of the marketing teams across ICAEW, this role acts as brand champion to embed ICAEW brand values, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
**Responsibilities of Marketing Executive include**:
- To work closely with all student societies and lead on developing marketing campaigns for their events, including annual balls, and working closely with event management companies, student societies, ICAEW events team and regional teams to deliver activity.
- To run the 'HeyACA' campaign, including content planning, relationship building with student contributors, support for contributors and campaign evaluation.
- Work with the Senior Student Relationship Executive to support with recruitment for dormant and low-engagement societies, through increasing awareness of societies both nationally and internationally.
- To be the brand ambassador for student societies, embedding the ICAEW brand across all campaign materials produced.
- Input into and support the delivery of ad-hoc marketing projects and campaigns, assigned by the Senior Marketing Manager.
- To carry out reporting across student marketing activity as required.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including colleagues in student support, business development, learning, international and regions to support and promote ICAEW Student and Student Society activity.
- To support on student marketing web projects across the student areas of the ICAEW website.
- Ad-hoc attendance at student society meetings (this can include out of hours working).
- Support for the Exam Communications Manager during exam sessions (this can include out of hours working), to assist with exam delivery.
- Manage allocated budget and timescales set by the Senior Marketing Manager for areas of responsibility. Make recommendations for activity to be optimised. Monitor and review relevant competitor activity.
Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
- A marketing or digital marketing degree, professional qualification or equivalent is preferred.
- You're self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative, with a can-do attitude.
- You thrive in a team environment but you're also able to work independently.
- An ability to think laterally and to produce imaginative, creative, and innovative solutions.
- Experience with preparing, executing, and measuring effectiveness of marketing plans across the marketing and communications mix.
- Strong proof reading and copywriting skills with the ability to create accurate, clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
- Experience of event management and event marketing is desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship development skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent project management and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and manage a variety of different projects simultaneously.
