**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day transactions and completing the posting process.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is required.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract, Volunteer

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
