Did you know, the UK is the 4th largest e-commerce market in the world?
This e-commerce business are specialists in retailing home, leisure and sporting goods across several platforms including Amazon, Wayfair and ManoMano.
Joining the business as a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for optimising these channels to drive conversion rates and improve website performance across a B2B and B2C space.
You will take a strategic lead in formulating this blend of acquisition and retention strategy, managing the marketing & content calendar, working closely with the E-commerce Trading Manager. You will understand the customer journey and continuously striveto improve this; while using competitor analysis and search tools to identify opportunities and set KPIs.
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining analytical reporting continuously reporting on progress to date. You will be focused on our purpose, customers centric, ensuring an outstanding integrated full funnel marketing experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Leading their digital acquisition strategies across multiple channels, including PPC, SEO, Paid Social, CRM and Affiliates.
- Develop their CRM strategy to understand the impact of marketing tactics on new customer acquisition, leveraging these insights to develop their strategies across all channels.
- Collaborating with the Ecommerce team regarding our on-site SEO strategy, to ensure Organic and Paid Search are working together to meet our overall Search objectives
- Creating, editing, writing and proof-reading copy that is focused on maximising reach to their customers through SEO.
- Set-up, own and deliver their Affiliate Marketing strategy, with a specific focus on content publishers and influencer networks, as well as new customer initiatives.
- Managing external digital marketing agencies, maximise ROI and media budgets.
- Developing one direct report, responsible for Paid Social, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok Advertising.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports for PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Paid Social and new acquisition initiatives.
- Staying aware of digital transformation in retail, ensuring they are always up to date with industry trends.
**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Excellent digital marketing experience gained within a consumer goods or retail environment.
- A proven track record of managing processes, people, and external agencies to effectively deliver a best-in-class marketing performance.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, organic growth, with experience of writing content marketing & copy in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data analysis, working with spreadsheets and with experience of using Google Analytics, Adwords & Facebook For Business.
- Strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management, relationship building skills and the ability to influence.
- A self-starter, able to work autonomously and within teams. A positive and inspiring manager, team player and confident communicator.
- Accountable by nature with the desire to make an impact. Keen to take ownership in a role with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
