Castle Precision Engineering is an innovative company, manufacturing critical precision components in exacting quality standards for the aerospace industry.

**The Role**

We are currently looking for an experienced time
- served Toolmaker, to join our team based in the south side of Glasgow.

The role is dayshift, Monday to Friday.

**Role Description**
- To effectively operate conventional or NC Lathes to produce components which meet or exceed the Company’s quality, operating and delivery standards.
- Maintaining work area and machinery in good working order.
- Produce right first-time components, from customer’s drawings, to required cycle times.
- This role involves the production of the following:

- Jigs
- Fixtures
- Tooling/fitting work
- To maximise production and comply with Company’s Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
**Essential Experience & Qualities**
- Experience in the operation of the following:

- Milling machines
- Manual lathes
- Surface grinders
- Proven background in Fitting.
- Experience in Inspection of final product.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
**Desirable Experience**
- Experience in the following will be desirable but no essential:

- Wire edm (makino)
- Welding
- Assembly work
