**Night Residential Support Worker - Zintarah Haven 18+ (Sutton)**
**Supporting Vulnerable Young Women Aged 18-25**

**Salary**:
**£14 per hour**
(3-4 waking night shifts per week for a 3-month fixed term contract)

**About the Role**:
Zintarah Haven 18+ is a trauma-informed, culturally responsive supported accommodation home designed for care-experienced Black and Black mixed-heritage young women aged 18-25. We provide a safe, stable home and personalised support to build the emotional resilience, independence, and life skills needed for a successful transition to adulthood.

We are now seeking **compassionate and consistent night staff** to join our team on a **3-month contract**, working **3 to 4 waking night shifts per week**. You will play a vital role in maintaining a calm and secure environment overnight, offering both emotional reassurance and practical support as needed, while ensuring safety and safeguarding standards are upheld.

**Working Pattern**:

- **3 to 4 waking night shifts per week**:

- **Shift: 9:00pm - 9:00am**:

- **Fixed rota over a 3-month period**:

- Includes weekday and weekend night coverage on rotation

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed overnight environment.
- Respond to incidents, emotional needs, or safeguarding concerns in line with policy.
- Complete accurate nightly logs, handovers, welfare checks, and records.
- Provide a calm and supportive presence for young women overnight.
- Support continuity of care and contribute to personalised support plans.
- Work closely with day staff to ensure consistent and holistic support.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **1-2 years’ experience** supporting vulnerable young people or adults in residential, semi-independent, domestic abuse, or similar settings.
- Confident managing **safeguarding, boundaries**, and responding to incidents overnight.
- Understanding of **trauma, exploitation, and systemic inequality** affecting care-experienced young women.
- Experience working with **Black and racially minoritised young women** is strongly preferred.
- Calm, consistent, and compassionate with strong professional boundaries.
- Able to work a **fixed night shift pattern**, including weekends.
- Must live within **1 hour of Sutton or Morden.**

**Training & Development**:
