We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Logistics teams. This is a small team made up of a Supply Chain Coordinator, Transport Coordinator, Logistics administrator. This will include covering the Sales team as this is a small team and will include some weekend work.

Griffin & Brand is an independent company based in Ashford Kent, fully owned by the Elliott family. The company was established in 1967, as an importer of fresh produce. Griffin & Brand supplies supermarkets with fresh produce.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Inbound Logistics Management**: Along side the Transport Coordinator and Warehouse Manager manage the racking and management of stock levels, keeping the wider company informed of daily arrivals, ensuring shipments are on schedule. Managing the restitution of empty containers.

**Inbound Logistics Administration**: Management of all required documentation for inbound logistics. PEACH entries, clearing instructions to the clearing agents, release requests. Review and approval of shipper documentation. Using third party portals and systems where necessary. Ensuring all invoicing is received and correct.
- **Systems Management**: Ensuring that the G&B ERP system is maintained with the most up to date information. Inc. arrivals, pricing, programs, grower returns

**Third party relationship management**: Liaising with clearing agents, shippers, external storage providers and growers. Ensuring that all paperwork is completed to a high standard and recorded accurately.

**Third party contract management**:Work with the Transport Coordinator to negotiate rates and contracts with third party service providers mentioned above. Dealing with claims and breaches of contract.

**Problem solving and issue resolution**:Resolving problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or suppliers.

**Team Management**:Manage logistics department personnel. Including training, recruitment and HR administration.
- **Compliance**:Ensuring all statutory regulations EG Import, Customs, H&S and internal policies are adhered to.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
