**You will be following the**Event Assistant apprenticeship**

This role is all about supporting the successful delivery of events and activities, while working closely with colleagues and partners to make things happen. The major event is the annual Luton Apprenticeship Awards and National Apprenticeship Week, however you will also be working on a number of other events throughout the year. You’ll play a key role in helping us plan, organise and deliver, whether that means gathering information, coordinating resources, or keeping track of event data and budgets.

Every day will bring something different. You might be preparing reports, managing event logistics, updating records, or using digital tools and social media to help us connect with our audiences. You’ll need to be adaptable too, as there may be occasions where evening or weekend work is required to support events.

At the heart of this role is collaboration. You’ll be working alongside a supportive team, but you’ll also have the chance to take initiative and work independently to make sure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll already have experience of working as part of a team, but you’ll also feel confident using your own initiative. Building positive relationships comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working with others to get the best results.

As an apprentice you will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours that you need to succeed in this role.

This is a public facing role so you’ll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English
