As a Team Leader Gibbs & Dandy Glass you can expect a varied, challenging and fast paced role where you will be joining a business that is focused on building excellent customer oriented teams in every branch. As a Team Leader you will play a pivotal role inbuilding a positive culture / environment in a cross department function where you can showcase your flair for leadership, mentoring and achieving key performance indicators
The Team Leader will ensure that all activities are carried out in a productive, cost efficient and safe manner complying with Saint-Gobain and Glassolutions policies and standards, to create a robust level of EHS culture & behaviour within the branch. Thevariety in this role will have you managing the day to day activities of cross functioning teams to ensure all task are completed to agreed planning in line with SSOW and business procedures to meet the demands of the business effectively. This exciting careerenhancing role will have you acting as a fully part of the Management set up within this highly successful global organisation.

Gibbs & Dandy is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and their success and growth has resulted in a strong presence with 28 timber and builders merchant branches nationwide, each serving professionals in their local building trade.
To work as part of the team and take responsibility for day to day warehouse team to ensure efficient processing and timely shipment to meet customer expectations.

**Here's a short breakdown of the key focus areas in this role**
- To report and assist in finding solutions to day operational, warehouse & transport issues to ensure optimum service in a cost-effective manner, maximising productivity within the business.
- Liaise with the afters shift supervisor, updating on current production & vehicle loading. Go through the vehicle runs with the afters shift, making sure all is understood & advise of any issues. Spend time engaging with both shifts on a daily basis, takingtime to listen & report/resolve any issues
- Support and carry out Risk assessing daily and exceptional activities to ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner & in accordance with the EHS Manual & Policy, seeking assistance from warehouse Supervisor when required.

Although we do require someone with proven experience in an industrial environment, and experience within glass loading and delivery a positive attitude and a commitment to your learning and development are most important.
