**Description**

The role of Logistics Planner in Northampton will involve:

- Weekly planning of drivers routes, making ad-hoc adjustments as necessary.
- Actively monitor customer storage tank levels.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance activity is scheduled.
- Responsible for the safe execution of all operations and driving activities at the depot.
- Managing the team of drivers.
- Take calls and provide remote support to customer sites experiencing technical issues.
- Assist the General Manager in the smooth running of the depot.

**Profile**

The successful Logistics Planner will have:

- Experience of planning multi-drop routes for drivers.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of driving hours, tachograph and working time regulations.
- A history of delivering results in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- A good level of Microsoft Office and IT skills.
- Ideally an IOSH Managing Safely certification (or the willingness and capability to attain one).
