**Title**: CNC Operator - Structural Steel Fabrication (Heavy Fabrication)
**Location**: Falkirk, Scotland
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate CNC machinery to fabricate structural steel components in a heavy fabrication environment.
- Safely operate **side loaders**, **forklifts**, and **overhead cranes** to handle and transport heavy materials and finished components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to produce precise steelwork.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC-related issues.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, especially when working with heavy equipment and steel products.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a CNC operator in a **structural steel fabrication or heavy fabrication** environment.
- Valid certifications or demonstrable experience in **side loader**, **forklift**, and **overhead crane operations**.
- Strong understanding of structural steel grades, fabrication techniques, and machining parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience handling large and heavy steel products, such as beams, girders, or columns.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and optimization.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
