Welcome to Buns From Home - a delicious tale that unfolded during lockdown Birthed in 2020 with our founder crafting delectable cinnamon buns from his mother’s cosy kitchen, we've now expanded our footprint with several stores sprinkled across London. A household name, our reputation sparkles both for our inviting services and the tantalizing sweet and savoury buns we offer.

From our ingenious bakers, our ever-smiling front-of-house brigade, to every passionate soul at Buns From Home, each one plays a pivotal role in scripting our success story. We're all bound by an overarching vision: to elevate the ordinary, to create food memories, and to promote an ambiance of unity and warmth.

**Role Overview**:
Step into the world of Buns From Home as our Back-of-House Baker. Here, you'll channel your culinary prowess to reinforce our identity as London’s preferred local bakery. Your expertise will ensure that our bakes consistently meet the gold standard, and your impeccable organizational skills will oversee the daily forecasted bakery production. We're on the lookout for someone who, apart from being skilled, radiates positivity and can smoothly navigate through the day-to-day baking hustle.
**Our Rhythm**:
We're early risers At Buns From Home, our day starts with the first light, in some sites around 5:00 am. We also like to be involved in the action with some buns from home open until 11pm. All of our buns from home have a different rhythm
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Opening and Closing of our bakeries daily.
- Craft and bake delightful items to enhance our visual display.
- Uphold our brand by ensuring the premium quality and presentation of each buns aligns with Buns From Home standards.
- Contribute to the seamless functioning of the kitchen and its daily operations.
- Advocate and maintain utmost kitchen hygiene, safe storage of ingredients, and all other safety and sanitary regulations.
- Foster clear communication amongst team members.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the line Manager/Head Chef.
- Mentor and guide budding bakers, sharing the nuances of our menu items.
- Minimise wastage, ensuring there's no overproduction.
**Requirements**:
- Proficient in baking various buns and adhering to forecasted quantities.
- Flexibility with work locations; while you'll have a primary site, occasional shifts might be at different sites.
- Physically able to manage tasks such as twisting, bending, and lifting trays during production.
- Adherence to early morning shifts, with a typical start time of 6am.
**Shift Patterns**:
Monday to Sunday, tailored to business needs. Some site have shifts that start early.
