**The role**: As a Business Development Manager, your role will be focused on creating a new account base whilst managing an existing account base, growing these wherever possible through networking and regular calls. You will also be sellinga foodservice offering into the HORECA sector, i.e., pubs, clubs, leisure, schools, hospitals, prisons and nursing homes you will be dealing directly with the Procurement Teams, Chefs and Catering Managers within these businesses. This company is well knownlarge independent business boasting a multimillion-pound turnover. As the Business Development Manager, you will have a large range of products to work with, supplying wines, meats, fresh, frozen, chilled, ambient, dairy and bake goods. You must be organised,passionate and hungry for new business. A target driven personality will see you succeed in this position.
**The company**: With over 40 years of experience our client is a well-known independent operator within the foodservice sector. They have a committed, focused and ambitious workforce and are a fantastic business to be a part of. During thepandemic whilst some other businesses struggled our client went from strength to strength and grew by up to 25%. They have remained focused on providing quality products at great value for their customers.
**Requirements**:
- MUST have foodservice sales experience
**The package**:
- Basic: up to £38,000 (depending on experience)
- Bonus: Can expect £15k-£20k in a year
- £5400 company car allowance + Plus extra if you go over mileage
