For this role you will receive **£10.55 per hour **_(for shifts worked delivering support)_ **plus £67.75 per shift **when you work a Sleep-In.
The **Lead Support Worke**r programme pays a shift premium of 50p per hour _(£10.55 per hour, Support Workers receive £10.05 per hour)_ for all hours worked delivering support (up to 40 hours per week.)
The Lead Support Worker Programme offers you the opportunity to develop your experience, skills and knowledge via workplace learning and a comprehensive training programme, enabling you to progress within the organisation into management roles.
Lead Support Workers will be based within a Locality, but will also be expected to work in other services across the organisationas and when required.
**The aim of the post**:To provide support to people with a learning or physical disability to live the life they choose in accordance with their personal support plans. This will involve:
- providing confident, high quality support to tenants with complex support needs
- coaching other support staff as required to effectively deliver complex packages
- moving if required to new care settings supported by the Consortium to ensure confident and stable support to tenants,
- acting up if required to Personal Support Manager positions,
- maintaining experience of supporting tenants with complex support needs caused by a wide range of factors
- undertaking additional training to maintain high quality care in complex situations.

You will be required to:
- work a variety of shifts on a rota basis including days, evenings, weekends, wakeful nights, public holidays and sleep in duties.
- hold a full current driving licence which allows you to legally drive in the UK is also required
- have Business Class 1 vehicle insurance.

COVID-19 considerations:
All Support Workers work within Welsh Government and Public Health Wales guidance and are provided with Lateral Flow Test kits and full PPE.
