**Overview**:
We are seeking an engaging and motivational tutor to provide in-person support for a Year 2 student in Slough. The student is well-behaved, eager to learn, and thrives when challenged. The tutor should be experienced in 11+ exam preparation, delivering tailored lessons in English, Maths, and reasoning, and inspiring confidence in the student’s academic abilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-person tutoring sessions in English, Maths, and reasoning, tailored to the 11+ syllabus.
- Challenge the student academically with structured lessons and homework assignments.
- Foster a positive learning environment to boost the student’s confidence.
- Equip the student with effective exam techniques and strategies for success.
- Monitor the student’s progress and provide regular feedback to the family.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience tutoring for the 11+ exams.
- Strong knowledge of English, Maths, and reasoning content relevant to the 11+ syllabus.
- Ability to deliver challenging and engaging lessons.
- A friendly, motivational teaching style.
- A track record of helping students achieve academic success (references preferred).

**Further Requirements**:

- References to demonstrate successful tutoring outcomes.
- A passion for education and helping young learners excel.
- Willingness to tutor in-person in Slough, SL3.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Pay**: £40-£45 per hour

**Expected Hours**:

- 1 session per week (specific day to be arranged from Monday, Tuesday, or Sunday).

**Schedule**:

- Weekly sessions (timing to be arranged with the family).

**Experience**:

- Tutoring: 3 years (preferred)

**Work Location**: In-person, Slough, SL3
