At Edenhall Estate we pride ourselves on delivering high quality residential and holiday accommodation in one of the most beautiful regions in the UK. We are also home to two fabulous wedding venues and some creative office spaces.

This is a role for a passionate and dedicated individual, who has excellent attention to detail and a warm friendly personality.

We are looking to appoint a Groundsperson to ensure the Estate is properly maintained, whilst adhering to health and safety procedures.

Reporting to the Estate Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintenance and cleaning of equipment, such as hot tubs, machinery and vehicles
- Assisting with the movement of equipment, vehicles, properties, tools etc
- Maintaining existing and forthcoming facilities e.g. fencing
- General equipment maintenance and fault finding
- Attending to visiting tradesmen
- Basic handyman skills
- Ensuring the Estate has fully functioning facilities at all times and standards are met
- Fire laying and wood restocking
- Delivery of gas cylinders and the removal of empty cylinders
- Removal of litter and recycling
- Ensuring that drains and gutters are kept free from debris
- Pruning back trees, strimming, grass cutting and leaf blowing
- Being proactive in identifying improvements beneficial for the Estate
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a full-time or part-time position with a great rate of pay, dependent on skills and experience.

Full driving licence required
