Our clients, Quality Solicitors Barwells are looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive for their Private Client Department. Quality Solicitors Barwells are part of the leading household name for legal services in the UK offering legaladvice and help to both individuals and businesses.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive who is looking to contribute to the growth and development of the Private Client Department, sourcing new business and building valuable business relationships within the localarea.

In this role, you will manage own caseload efficiently and, in a cost, effective and profitable manner, utilising support staff and resources available to maximise efficiency. Source new business and build valuable business relationships within local area.You will have the ability to explain matters in simple terms and treat clients with compassion.

Key responsibilities:

- To manage all client work allocated by the Head of department or other Partner and in accordance with detailed procedures and quality standards contained in the firm’s Office Manual and Case Management systems as appropriate.
- To ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on costs.
- At all times to exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner.
- To achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording.
- In close liaison with the Accounts, to have overall responsibility for credit control on own matters.
- To comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules on the Professional Conduct of Solicitors.
- To maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm.
- To ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.
- To supervise, support and develop immediate support staff.
- To take responsibility for and attend to self-development.
- In conjunction with the firm, to comply with the relevant training requirements of the Law Society and to assist with in-house training as may be required.
- In liaison with Head of department and other Partners, to be active in promoting the services of the firm and its image and ethos.
- Other duties commensurate with the post as designated from time to time by the Partnership.
- To secure the confidentiality and security of the firm’s client documentation and information.

You will actively promote the services of the firm, upholding the Company’s image, values and ethos.
