The role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Valuer to join us as we begin to grow our Estates team to provide a professional estate management service. It is an exciting time, and you will be an integral part of a friendly and supportive team.
Experience in the public service is an advantage, together with the proven ability to deliver. You will be a good team player with a positive flexible attitude to delivering a high-quality service to an exciting range of clients to ensure optimum performance of the commercial portfolio.
Day to day responsibilities will including managing properties efficiently and compliantly, dealing with all aspects of property management such as asset disposals, valuations, granting leases, rent reviews, lease renewals and all other tenancy matters.
This is a permanent position.
Essential knowledge, skills and qualification required include:
- Knowledge and awareness of local, regional and national property markets across a range of property types.
- Knowledge of valuation techniques.
- Knowledge and understanding of all property law, which would applicable across a mixed portfolio.
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines and work with competing demands.
- Ability to work unsupervised to a high quality
- Registered under the RICS Valuer Accreditation Scheme
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
