Spencer Clark Group are working in partnership with a local authority based in **East Cheshire** to appoint an experienced**SEN Case Officer **for their **Special Educational Needs Unit.**
Our Clients strive to make their community a place people want to work and live by providing their residents with high quality services to enhance their quality of life and make their community thrive
As a SEN Case Officer you will be expected to provide exceptional support to Children with Speical Educational Needs and their families by undertaking statutory assessment and developing effective Education, Health and Care plans.
**Duties will include**:
- Maintenance of EHCP.
- Providing advice and support to Parents and Educational Settings.
- Attend multi-agency co-production meetings.
- Submit sufficient information, evidence and costs to appropriate Moderation Panels.
- To be the main point of contact for named settings, schools and colleges.
- Act as the main key worker to children and young people allocated to your case load.
**As a SEN Case Officer you must have**:
- Experience of working with children and young people with SEN.
- Ability to travel when required.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check.
