Overview
Compass Associates is privileged to be working alongside an established Children’s Residential and Education charitable provider specialising in Learning Disability and Autistic Spectrum. Boasting over 50 years of experience, we are looking for a Head of Children’s Services to join their Senior Management Team.

We are looking for an experienced Registered Children’s Manager (with experience looking over more than one service) or a Regional Manager who is looking for a new challenge and keen to work for an award-winning charity and to be their Head of Children’s Services.

Reporting to and working alongside the Head of Operations, you will be at the core of their Children’s Residential Services alongside a Specialist School. You will be responsible for all the day to day functions across the division, with direct reports from Registered Managers, working closely with Ofsted. The services are all rated Good or Outstanding.

We are looking for someone who is quality driven, hands-on with a visible presence across the service, someone with a genuine passion for Children with Severe Learning Disabilities and ASC.

Location / Portfolio
Currently, the portfolio is based in the Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard and Hertfordshire area. Travel across these areas is imperative but with flexibility to work from home.

**Requirements**:

- Superior multi-site management experience particularly Ofsted registered services (can be Residential or Education)
- Excellent understanding of Ofsted frameworks
- Genuine passion in caring for children with Learning Disabilities and ASD
- Clear DBS / CRB

Interview Process
1 stage and it will be with the Head of Operations and another member of the Senior Management Team followed by a tour of the school

This is competency based with a potential presentation.
