Axon Moore are working in an exclusive partnership with a successful and growing PE Backed business in Bolton to recruit a newly qualified Commercial Management Accountant.
Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts with relevant commentary
- Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow budgeting and forecasting
- Finance business partnering across senior stakeholders and budget holders
- Monthly accruals and prepayments
- Invoice reconciliations
- Balance sheet and intercompany account reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly and ad hoc journals
- Quarterly VAT Returns
- Identifying sustainable cost saving targets and initiatives, profit improvements and revenue enhancements
- Supporting with detailed revenue and profitability analysis, and identifying risks, opportunities and appropriate recommendations to the business
- Perform monthly closing procedures in required time frame, including query resolution and variance analysis
- Improve finance processes through automation and process improvement
- Management of a team of 2
- Ad hoc project work
