Are you ready to take on a key role in shaping the future of ICT services in a dynamic and transformative environment? Derbyshire County Council is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join us as the Head of ICT Continuous Improvement.

In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in developing a process enhancement strategy that focuses on simplification, cost reduction, and value-added services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Streamlining Project Processes**: Ensure that all ICT project processes are streamlined and optimised to facilitate collaboration, efficiency, and communication. Guide technical projects from initiation to completion, leveraging industry best practices.
- **Customer Engagement**: Develop and manage the customer engagement function to create business value, implement ICT architecture and compliance policies, and act as a functional intermediator with the wider DCC business.
- **Digital Adoption**: Lead the digital adoption function to overcome change resistance, facilitate the integration of digital technologies, tools, and change in working practices, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and customer experience within the organisation.
- **ICT Strategy and Stakeholder Plan**: Develop, deliver, and evaluate the Council’s ICT strategy aligned with organisational priorities and the Council Plan. Promote a standardised approach to ICT service delivery and stakeholder engagement.
- **Financial Management**: Manage and monitor the allocated ICT budget, make required budget savings, and identify opportunities for new business areas that financially support and underpin the Council’s core services.
- **Leadership and Management**: Develop a high-performance culture through collaborative working across ICT service areas and council departments. Provide leadership and management to enable continuous improvement, effective decision-making, target setting, performance management, and conflict resolution.
