Here at FAERCH UK we have an exciting opportunity for a **Production Operative **to join our team based in **Durham**. You will join us on a full-time permanent basis working on a rotating continental shift pattern (4 on 4 off, days 06:00 - 18:00 & nights 18:00 - 06:00). In return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£23,774.00 per annum** inclusive of shift allowance.

This is very much a ‘hands-on’ and physical role working as part of the production team, reporting to the Shift Manager. As a **Production Operative**, you are the last person to see the product before it goes to our customers, so a high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential (appropriate training provided).

**Key responsibilities you will have as our Production Operative include**:

- Working within the allocated team to achieve planned manufacturing and efficiency targets
- Ensuring all production documentation is available and correctly completed at the start, during and end of the production run
- Adhering to quality standards, taking ownership of our products and delivering the best quality to all our customers
- Communicating manufacturing status correctly via the production control system
- Observing and following site housekeeping protocol incorporating ‘Operation Clean Sweep’ to ensure a safe and healthy working environment in all production areas

**Skills and experience you will need to become our Production Operative**:

- Experience in a busy production environment
- Able to follow direction
- Good communication between colleagues and managers - Team Working
- Practical interpersonal skills - ability to maintain a high level of discipline associated with daily compliance of hygiene standards and safe operation of factory equipment
- Ability to understand and follow company guidelines, policies, procedures and meet the required performance targets
