Smart Manufacturing Solutions are recruiting CNC Press Brake Operator for our client within Stockton-on-Tees.

The production of high quality steel components via the operation of CNC Machining Centres, inclusive of:

- Operating CNC Press Brakes accurately
- Reading engineering drawings
- Maintenance of work area
- Supporting other teams in Production and Dispatch if required
- Following part setup sheets, engineering drawings and clear working instructions
- Completing daily pre-operation and TPM check sheets

Supporting first off checks and performing in batch checks as required, via the competent use of technical measuring equipment.

Ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain) practices at all times

Provide technical support to line management for incident and accident investigations and associated reporting and action closure.

Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.

Identify opportunities for business improvements within the organisation.

Any ad-hoc duties as required from time to time by the Production Supervisor or other members of the management team

**Shifts**
- Dayshift - Monday to Thursday 6am-2:15pm, Friday 6am-12:45pm
- Backshift - Monday to Thursday 2:15pm-22:30pm, Friday 12:45pm-19:30pm

**Rates**:

- Starting at £12.13 depending on skills and experience. Shift allowance and overtime available.

**Essential skills and experience**:

- Must have at least 1 year's experience of operating CNC press brakes.
- Ability to accurately fold according to engineering drawings.
- Able to work to deadlines
- Pro-active approach to work
- Keen to be part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willing to learn and develop within the company

**Salary**: From £12.13 per hour
