We have an exciting opportunity available for a customer care and administration assistant in our expanding home visiting veterinary practice in Warwickshire. Pawsitive Vet Care aims to improve the experience of veterinary treatment by meeting animals where they are most comfortable - in their own homes.

The role will be based at our permanent site and will involve:

- booking in appointments and taking repeat prescription requests
- keeping our team on the road informed about any urgent patient needs
- receiving deliveries
- welcoming clients and their pets entering our practice
- taking payments from clients in person and over the phone
- entering transactions into our accounting software
- packaging and posting medications prescribed by our vets
- posting to our social media accounts and responding to comments and messages
- following up unpaid invoices
- other administrative and customer care roles as required

Currently a substantial amount of the time will be lone working so you should be comfortable with this. As the business expands, we will have more staff members on site throughout the day.

Our patients are predominantly dogs and cats, with a smaller number of rabbits and other ‘small furries’. We expect all our staff to work to ‘Fear Free’ standards - training will be provided.

The role is part-time with an average of 25 hours/week initially, with shifts 8.30am-1.30pm Monday to Friday. In the future, Saturday morning work will be needed, exact shift pattern to be confirmed but likely 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8.30am-1pm.

Extra hours will be available occasionally.

**Requirements**:

- You will have an excellent customer manner
- GCSEs in English and Maths at C/4 or above
- Excellent computer literacy
- Experience using social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or LinkedIn)
- Experience as a veterinary or health care receptionist would be advantageous
- Experience with using Xero accounting software is advantageous
