**Product Manager**: Ageas has a newly created opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Business Transformation team on a permanent basis.

The Product Manager is responsible for determining the management of product backlogs, using an evidence and data-driven approach to prioritisation, and must ensure that product development is driven by clear business goals and KPIs. They will act as a singleinterface for Portfolios and Business functions and will report to QBR. They will work closely and collaborate with Senior Leaders across the business to determine, shape and understand change needs and drive initiatives through to delivery, ensuring we deliverour strategic digital objectives.

They will be responsible for the management of the team of Product Owners for the cross-functional, delivery teams and will be expected to foster an outcome-based culture aligned to our digital objectives and MYB. The team will be pro-active in the supportof design thinking, user testing, and other techniques that bring a customer focus to product development.
**Main Responsibilities as Product Manager**:

- Responsible for ensuring that product backlogs are well managed and that an evidence and data-driven approach is taken to prioritisation.
- Work closely with senior leaders to understand change needs from across the organisation.
- Ensure that product development is driven by clear business goals and KPIs.
- Influence, shape and promote the product visions and strategies.
- Facilitate a structure of regular check-ins with the Product Owners to create a forum for issues and problems to be discussed and shared as a community.
- Be the voice of the customer and ensure the customer is placed at the heart of ideation and delivery.
- Line manage and coach Product Owners and prioritise timely solutions for delivery.
- To work with the business teams to support a programme/backlog of continuous improvement, innovation and strategic delivery.
- Ensure members of your cross-functional teams are actively and jointly concerned with product outcomes, regardless of their individual background and expertise.
- Be a champion for Design Thinking and Agile ways of working.
- Ensure Product Owners provide good estimates, commit to deadlines and write business cases in contexts where Agile ways of working have not yet been established.

**Skills and experience you need as Product Manager**
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a product owner, product manager, digital analyst or business analyst.
- Ability to deal effectively with senior stakeholders and make difficult prioritisation decisions.
- Strong experience working in a digital ecommerce or technology environment.
- Ability to lead and mentor Product Owners to deliver on an ongoing agenda for customer focussed innovation, particularly digital.
- Experience line managing and mentoring team members.
- Knowledge and experience of Agile ways of working.
- Knowledge of UX, UI design and usability.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with data analytics techniques, tooling and experimental methods.
- Experience of Design Thinking a big advantage.
- Experience of project management, budgetary control and vendor management an advantage.
